2 heads of fresh broccoli (or 14 oz of frozen broccoli)
¼ cup water
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp salt
Supplies:
Microwave safe bowl with a lid
Small mixing bowl
Strainer
A wooden spoon
Directions:
• Wash the broccoli and break it up into florets
• Put the broccoli and water into the microwave safe bowl and with the lid on microwave it 6 minutes
• While the broccoli is cooking, mix the olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, and salt in the small mixing bowl
• Once the broccoli is done, pour broccoli into the strainer
• Put the broccoli into your serving dish
• Pour the contents of the small mixing bowl over the broccoli and stir, then it is ready to serve
