Ginger is an ayurvedic power house. It has anti inflammatory properties which ease the swelling of the throat when it is sore. It boosts the immune system and is anti viral, making it effective in treating sore throats and coughs.

The other super ingredient in this recipe is raw honey. Raw honey is a powerful antioxidant and has anti viral, anti bacterial and anti fungal properties.
