Benefits:
NEUTRALIZE FREE RADICALS. Oxidation caused by free radicals is a primary source of health problems affecting millions of people each year. Soul plays a critical role in supporting optimal health by providing vital nutrients your body needs to be healthy and live a life without limits.
SUPPORT GOOD HEALTH. 50 nutrients have been identified as being critical for vitality and good health. Unfortunately in a world full of stress, pollution, exposure to allergens, and poor diet, many are not receiving the proper nourishment needed to maintain good health. Our bodies begin to breakdown by showing signs of wear and tear. Soul replenishes the nutrients we need to gain energy, support critical bodily functions, and neutralize free radicals.
BUILDS ENERGY RESERVOIR. The Soul is sustained natural energy for both mind and body. Each 2-ounce packet infuses you with core nutrients needed for enhanced mental clarity and living an active lifestyle. Unlike other products or energy drinks, Soul contains no harmful and addictive chemicals that create temporary energy boosts or resulting crashes.
PROMOTES MUSCLE HEALTH & FLEXIBILITY. Did you know optimal human physiology requires 12 vitamins, 12 minerals, 9 essential amino acids and some essential fatty acids? Our seeds provide these nutrients and so much more. The result is a stronger body with greater mobility to help you maintain and achieve higher physical activity.
INGREDIENTS:
Most seeds make up a slight percentage of the total weight of a berry or flower, but they contain the most potent health benefits in their tiny packages. The foundation of all of our products are the seeds we’ve selected – they’re the genesis of life. You’ve probably heard about berries and herbs being excellent free-radical scavengers. What many don’t realize is the most dominant part of those ingredients, where all the benefit comes from, are the seeds!
Black Cumin Seeds
Black cumin (also known as Black Seed, or Nigella sativa) has a history that spans over 2500 years, making this ingredient one of the safest plant extracts for human consumption. Black cumin seed is an adaptogen – meaning it can increase the resistance and protecting the human body from various health challenges.
Clinical trials have shown that black seed oil may help maintain blood sugar and cholesterol levels already within normal range, along with many other health benefits, and is considered to be one of the most healthful herbs of all time.*
Black Raspberry Seeds
Black raspberry seeds contain antioxidant-like phytonutrients including ellagitannins and anthocyanins, which are powerful antioxidants that help support many bodily functions and overall good health.*.
Antioxidants seek out and eliminate cell-damaging substances, called free radicals. Free radicals can occur naturally in the body or from exposure to environmental toxins. Although ellagitannins exist in most berries, raspberries contain the most potent levels.
Chardonnay Grape Seeds
Grape seeds have an abundant source of flavonoids called proanthocyanidins. This is essential for brain health due to their free radical-quenching antioxidant and collagen-protecting effects.*
Proanthocyanidins have also been shown to delay the onset of lipid peroxidation noticeably and to chelate iron ions effectively. Free iron ions are some of the most influential promoters of lipid peroxide, hydrogen peroxide, and hydroxyl radical production, supporting brain health.
Ribose-D
Ribose-D is a five-carbon sugar found in every cell in our bodies that combines with oxygen and ATP (adenosine triphosphate) to give energy to each cell. Ribose is also present in RNA (ribonucleic acid), which is one of the primary information carriers of living organisms.
Oxidative stress is measured by free radical damage to cells. Fortunately, our bodies handle this problem daily. However, if our bodies experience an abnormal increase in free radicals due to exercise, daily stress, excess smoking, excess saturated fat intake, depressed immune system, aging, etc., the body becomes fatigued and less efficient in producing Ribose-D to replenish cellular energy. Because of this, we need to supplement with Ribose-D to regenerate the cells energy system.*

Professor Maureen McCann, Director of the Energy Center at Purdue University, addresses “A Roadmap for Selective Deconstruction of Lignocellulosic Biomass to Advanced Biofuels and Useful Co-Products” on February 11, 2013 as part of the Andlinger Center’s 2012-2013 Highlight Seminar Series.
ABSTRACT
Second-generation biofuels will be derived from lignocellulosic biomass using biological catalysis to use the carbon in plant cell wall polysaccharides for ethanol or other biofuels. However, this scenario is both carbon- and energy-inefficient. The major components of biomass are cellulose, hemicellulose and lignin. Biological conversion routes utilize only the polysaccharide moiety of the wall, and the presence of lignin interferes with the access of hydrolytic enzymes to the polysaccharides. Living micro-organisms, required to ferment released sugars to biofuels, utilize some sugars in their own growth and co-produce carbon dioxide. In contrast, chemical catalysis has the potential to transform biomass components directly to alkanes, aromatics, and other useful molecules with improved efficiencies. The Center for Direct Catalytic Conversion of Biomass to Biofuels (C3Bio) is a DOE-funded Energy Frontier Research Center, comprising an interdisciplinary team of plant biologists, chemists and chemical engineers. We are developing catalytic processes to enable the extraction, fractionation, and depolymerization of cellulose and hemicellulose coupled to catalytic transformation of hexoses and pentoses into hydrocarbons. Additional catalysts may cleave the ether bonds of lignin to release useful aromatic co-products or that may oxidize lignols to quinones. In a parallel approach, fast-hydropyrolysis is a relatively simple and scalable thermal conversion process. Our understanding of biomass-catalyst interactions require novel imaging and analysis platforms, such as mass spectrometry to analyze potentially complex mixtures of reaction products and transmission electron tomography to image the effects of applying catalysts to biomass and to provide data for computational modeling. By integrating biology, chemistry and chemical engineering, our data indicate how we might modify cell wall composition, or incorporate Trojan horse catalysts, to tailor biomass for physical and chemical conversion processes. We envision a road forward for directed construction and selective deconstruction of plant biomass feedstock.
BIOGRAPHY
Maureen McCann is the Director of Purdue’s Energy Center, part of the Global Sustainability Initiative in Discovery Park. She obtained her undergraduate degree in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge, UK, in 1987, and then a PhD in Botany at the John Innes Centre, Norwich UK, a government-funded research institute for plant and microbial sciences. She stayed at the John Innes Centre for a post-doctoral, partly funded by Unilever, and then as a project leader with her own group from 1995, funded by The Royal Society. In January 2003, she moved to Purdue University as an Associate Professor, and she is currently a Professor in the Department of Biological Sciences.
The goal of her research is to understand how the molecular machinery of the plant cell wall contributes to cell growth and specialization, and thus to the final stature and form of plants. Plant cell walls are the source of lignocellulosic biomass, an untapped and sustainable resource for biofuels production with the potential to reduce oil dependence, improve national security, and boost rural economies. She is also the Director of the Center for Direct Catalytic Conversion of Biomass to Biofuels (C3Bio), an interdisciplinary team of biologists, chemists and chemical engineers in an Energy Frontier Research Center funded by the US Department of Energy’s Office of Science.
It is not easy to find such a professional and responsible provider in today's time. Hope that we can maintain long-term cooperation.
