Citrus aurantium L, belonging to the family Rutaceae, is widely distributed in China. Zhishi, the Chinese traditional name for Citrus aurantium, has long been a folk medicine in traditional Chinese medicine (TCMto improve indigestion and help stimulate the Qi (energy force).

4. Have the function of reducing hay fever and other allergic conditions by inhibiting the release of histamine from mast cells. The possible activity of hesperidin could be explained by the inhibition of polyamine synthesis. (bitter orange extract)

Ingredients:

1 cup walnuts or pecans
1/4 cup raw cacao powder or carob powder
1 1/2 cups pitted medjool dates
1/2 tbsp vanilla bean powder
1/2 tbsp cinnamon

Topping:

desiccated coconut
raw cacao powder
hemp seeds
chia seeds
almonds

Steps:

Put 1 cup of nuts of your choice into the food processor and process until it looks like crumbs. Add the pitted medjool dates, cacao or carob powder, vanilla bean powder, and cinnamon. Process until a dough ball forms. Take your dough out of the food processor and with your hand roll into balls. Dip each ball in toppings listed above or of your choice.
