[What is green tea extract]

Green tea is the second largest beverage demanded by consumers worldwide. Used in China and India for its medicinal effects. There are several compounds extracted from green tea including catechins which contain an enormous amount of hydroxyphenols that are easily oxidized, congregated and contracted, which explains its good anti-oxidation effect. Its anti-oxidation effect is 25-100 times as strong as those of vitamin C and E.

It is widely used in medicines, agriculture, and chemical and food industries. This extract prevents cardio-vascular disease, lowers the risk of cancer, and decreases blood sugar and blood pressure, as well as viruses. In the food industry, the anti-oxidation agent used for preserving food and cooking oils.

Mention the term “steroid” and it’s usually associated with the synthetic, compounds that are used to build muscle or improve performance. Cholesterol for example, is the precursor for steroid hormones and is responsible for processes that allow steroid hormones to enter the cell, thereby activating the specific gene in question. Put simply, steroids are hormones that send messages to the body’s cells. Different steroids produce different responses. Humans, animals, and plants all utilise a variety of naturally occurring steroids.

Ecdysteroids are found in nature and are biologically similar to androgens (male hormones) and have been documented to produce almost exact results that supplementing with androgens would bring but without any of the aromatising effects (the conversion of androgens to oestrogen) of androgens.

Within the ecdysteroid ‘family’ Turkesterone is considered to be the most effective, with results equaling synthetic anabolism-inducing ‘supplementation’ cycles. Genuine Turkesterone is obtained from the plant Ajuga Turkestanica native to Uzbekistan (all attempts at cultivating Ajuga Turkestanica anywhere else in the world has failed). This is the ONLY true source of GENUINE Turkesterone and any true source of Turkesterone will be validated by The Institute of Chemistry of Plant Substances (ICPS) in Uzbekistan. There are many products for sale via the internet that claim to be genuine Turkesterone and are often quoted as being 40% “Turkesterone.” These are in fact vastly inferior Chinese products (no matter how they are branded) produced from Rhaponticum Carthamoides (Russian Leuzea) and certainly not from Ajuga Turkestanica. Claims of 20-100% pure Tukesterone are very likely to be bogus and need to be treated with caution and investigated further (or given a wide birth).
