[Function]

Resveratrol is an active component extracted from Huzhang (Polygonum cuspidatum) in China.

It is an antioxidant phenol and a potent vasodilator that inhibits serum triglyceride synthesis, lipid peroxidation, and platelet aggregation.

It is extensively used for treatment of blood vessel disease such as atherosclerosis and hyperlipidemia. In addition, it has anti-virus and anti inflammatory activity, can treat acute microbial infections and viral hepatitis.

I typically make these for my boyfriend so I don’t really measure any of the ingredients out since he doesn’t count macros. But you could plug in the ingredients or substitute others and measure out what fits your macros. Using walden farms pancake syrup is a great way to replace the honey and reduce the amount of carbs in this snack.

Ingridents:
- 1- 1 1/2 cups of dry oats
- 1 scoop of protein powder of choice
- 3 tbsp chocolate chips
- Enough peanut butter & honey to get the mixture to form together
Optional:
- Nuts
- M&Ms
- Coconut flakes
- Dried Fruit
- Flax/Chai Seeds
- Banana/Pumpkin Puree

1.Wash, peel and soak carrots in warm water for 30mins.
2.Thinly slice the carrots . Spread the carrots a tray or a large plate and and place under the sun to dry for 8days. Make sure
you cover the tray with a net or a thin cloth to prevent insects and dust from getting into contact with the slice.
3.5th day grind well and dry in the sun for 3 days.
4.8th day grind well and sieve the carrot powder,transfer back the
remaining amount into mixer and grind again.
5.Add vegetable powders to soups, breads, dips,cake food coloring..etc.
6.Store it in an air tight jar.
