Recipe for Rice with Dates: all ingredients
basmati or thai rice boiled – enough for two
2cms of grated fresh turmeric root – just washed and brushed, then sautéed
a handful of chopped dates
One large onion sautéed
A half teaspoon of Ras el Hanout (couscous spice)
1 dessert spoon of coconut oil.
Freshly ground black pepper and salt.
Mix all ingredients together and serve with roasted meat and/or vegetables.
