[What is Epimedium?]

Epimedium extract is a popular aphrodisiac supplement and herbal sexual performance enhancer.It has a long history of traditional use in China for the alleviation of erectile dysfunction and for improving libido and fertility.

Also known as Horny Goat Weed, this supplement supposedly got its name after a farmer noticed that his flock of goats were particularly aroused after eating flowers of a specific type. These Epimedium flowers contain icariin, which is a natural compound that increases blood flow to sexual organs and promotes sex drive. Icariin has been found to increase Nitric Oxide synthesis as well as inhibiting the activity of the PDE-5 enzyme

If you’re anything like me, you think of penises as baffling, mythical creatures that you can only dream of understanding. Beautiful, weird, (sometimes) funny, it’s time we got to the bottom of what male genital organs are all about.

1. They’re REALLY bendy
Erm, so apparently, penises bend into the shape of a boomerang during missionary sex?! In 1999, University Hospital Groningen in the Netherlands carried out a study and looked at couples having penetrative sex under an MRI machine. They must have been horrified to learn that the penis bends into a boomerang shape *voms* in the vagina when a man assumes the missionary position.

2. ‘Penes’ is the plural
You might have been referring to a gathering of the genitals as ‘penises’ your whole life (so have we), but apparently ‘penes’ is also the plural. Oh and the best bit? The word is pronounced ‘peen-eez’.

3. The well-groomed ones are more appealing than the big’uns
