[How to get it]

First, we collect raw propolis from beehives, then extract by low temperature with ethanol. Filter and concentrate, we get the pure propolis block at 90% to 95%.

Propolis comes from the substance like natural resin, which is collected by the bees from exudates of plants branches and bud the chemical substances of Propolis are found to be various, such as beeswax, resin, incense lipids, aromatic oil, fat-soluble oils, pollen and other organic matter. Studies have shown that the source of propolis resin in material has three types: bees collected plants secreted fluid, secretion in vivo metabolism of bee, and involvement in the process of forming the material.

Ingredients
• Raw jack fruit – 500 gms ( diced & boiled with turmeric – salt )
• Matar dal / dried peas – 200 gms
• Cumin powder – 2 tbsp
• Cardamom powder – 1 tbsp
• Ginger paste – 1 tbsp
• Coriander powder – 1 tbsp
• Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
• Ghee – 1 tbsp
• Diced tomato – 2
• Turmeric powder – 1 tsp
• Turmeric powder – 1 tsp
• Diced potato – 4 ( medium size )
• Mustard oil – as required
• Salt & sugar – taste
Tempering
• Red chillies – 4
• Cumin seeds – 1tsp
• Bay leaves – 2
Method
• At first matar dal soaked for 6-7 hours & drain out the water, then make affine paste with little bit water
• Beat the matar dal paste for smooth texture
• For making vada of matar dal, deep fry them into enough heated oil ( medium flame )
• Fry raw jack fruit ( boiled ) with salt – sugar into 4 tbsp heated oil (medium flame )
• Fry diced potato with salt in 2 tbsp heated oil (medium flame )
• Add tempering in 3 tbsp heated oil & lightly fry
• Add all spices & diced tomato, salt-sugar ( to taste )
• Sauté them until oil is separated from masala
• When sautéing is half done , then add fried potato & continue for remaining sauté
• Add fried raw jack fruit & mix well and fry them for 3-4 mins (high flame )
• Add 2 cups water & boil them for 10 mins ( cover it with a lid)
• When curry boiling is half – done , then add vada & stir it well
• Cover the kadai for remaining boil
• Add ghee- cardamom mixture & mix well
• Take out from the kadai
• Serve with plain rice
