A Spicy Yam fry recipe…Which is served in marriage lunch
Ingredients
Yam -Senai Kilangu – 1/2 kg
Ginger garlic paste -1 tsp
Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp
Chilly powder -2 tsp
Coriander powder -2 tsp
Garam masala -1/2 tsp
Salt ,oil
Steps
Peel yam ,wash and cut as shown.Put a Tbs of tamarind paste to a bowl of water.Put Yam in this water.
Put yam in boiling water and cook for 3 minutes.remove and stain
Fry Yam in oil in batches
Add all powders,salt, ginger garlic paste and mix well,let it rest for 30 minutes
In 3 tsp of oil ,fry yam in medium flame for 5,6 minutes, until raw smell goes and it fries .
