[What is Rhodiola Rosea]

Rhodiola Rosea (also known as Arctic root or golden root) is a member of the family Crassulaceae, a family of plants native to the arctic regions of Eastern Siberia. Rhodiola rosea is widely distributed  in Arctic and mountainous regions throughout Europe and Asia. It grows at altitudes of 11,000 to 18,000 feet above sea level.

There are numerous animal and test tube studies showing that rhodiola has both a stimulating and a sedating effect on the central nervous system; enhance physical endurance; improves thyroid, thymus, and adrenal function; protects the nervous system, heart and liver; and has antioxidant and anticancer properties.

2 Resisting radiation and tumor;

3 Regulating nervous system and metabolism, effectively limiting melancholy feeling and mood, and promoting mental status;

4 Protecting cardiovascular, dilating coronary artery,preventing coronary arteriosclerosis and arrhythmia.

Ingridients: 150 ml egg whites, 30 g Whey ( vanilla), 3 g baking powder, vanilla extract, 1 tb stevia.

The ingredients:
-3 cups all purpose flour
-2 cups sugar
-3 teaspoons baking soda
-1 teaspoon baking powder
-1 teaspoon salt
-1 teaspoon cinnamon
-1 teaspoon nutmeg
-3/4 cup vegetable oil
-2 teaspoons vanilla
-1 cup diced cranberries
-1 1/2 cups sweet potatoes (3 sweet potatoes boiled & mashed)
-1 cup crushed walnuts
-3/4 cup fresh squeezed orange juice
-Gratings from 3 orange peels
-4 eggs

Boil three sweet potatoes and mash them up. Use a cheese grater to peel three oranges and squeeze the juice out of oranges to get 3/4 of a cup of orange juice. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

Put all the liquid ingredients in a bowl and mix them with a spoon. Then just add all the non-liquid ingredients and stir them thoroughly with a spoon. Grease a baking pan or bread pan with butter or vegetable oil (my mom used vegetable oil) and bake for 60 to 70 minutes, or until you can stick a toothpick in it and pull it out without the batter sticking. Let it cool for a while and serve.
