In this episode I wrap up the harvesting of the last of 100 ounces of honey, show you my new Kubota B2920 tractor, and we go out and disc up 6 acres of pasture and overseed some yellow sweet clover and crimson clover on top of the grass for the bees to forage on next spring. The literature predicts 500 pounds per acre of yellow sweet clover and 200 pounds per acre of crimson clover, which means I could bring in 1800 pounds of honey if the bees were able to process it that fast. I’m going to need a lot more hives!!
