[What is Siberian Ginseng?]

Eleutherococcus, also known as eleuthero or Siberian ginseng, grows in mountain forests and is native to eastern Asia including China, Japan, and Russia. Traditional Chinese Medicine has used eleutherococcus for reducing lethargy, fatigue, and low stamina as well as increasing endurance and resilience to environmental stresses. Now that I’m on a new hair journey (I do plan on getting a small trim in about a month to keep it short through the spring). I wanted to approach my hair the way I wish I did in the first year of my first big chop. Overall I really like how soft my hair felt after using Soultanicals Pumpkin-Kaolin Healing Locks , the only thing is my hair did not maintain the shine it’s recently been having the next day. I think it’s partly because the clay while softening and make your hair look dry, but it should totally bounce back after.

That’s right – its a cake made with grapes! Watch and learn how Nonna creates one of the greatest and most unique desserts of all time – so good and full of grapes….

INGREDIENTS
flour – 4 cups
sugar – 1 cup
vegetable oil – 1 cup
milk – 1cup
eggs – 4
vanilla extract – 1 teaspoon
baking powder – 6 teaspoons
grapes – 4 cups, sliced in half
sugar – 1 tablespoon (nonna uses coconut sugar)

DIRECTIONS
for this recipe, Nonna is using a food processor for mixing purposes
add eggs, sugar and oil – blend for 30 seconds
add milk, vanilla, baking powder and 2 cups of flour – blend for 30 seconds
add the last 2 cups of flour – blend for 30 seconds
scrape sides of food processor to ensure a good mixture – blend for a final 30 seconds or until smooth
in a large greased pan, pour in mixture a little at a time
spread the mixture evenly throughout the pan
now its time to add the grapes
add the sliced grapes to the cake, one at a time, in row format (watch nonna for detailed technique)
sprinkle the top of the cake with your choice of sugar (nonna uses coconut sugar)
bake in preheated oven at 350 degrees for 30 minutes
