Brief Introduction

Astaxanthin is a natural nutritional component, it can be found as a food supplement. The supplement is intended for human, animal, and aquaculture consumption.

Astaxanthin is a carotenoid. It belongs to a larger class of phytochemicals known as terpenes, which are built from five carbon precursors; isopentenyl diphosphate and dimethylallyl diphosphate . Astaxanthin is classified as a xanthophyll (originally derived from a word meaning “yellow leaves” since yellow plant leaf pigments were the first recognized of the xanthophyll family of carotenoids), but currently employed to describe carotenoid compounds that have oxygen-containing moities, hydroxyl or ketone , such as zeaxanthin and canthaxanthin. Indeed, astaxanthin is a metabolite of zeaxanthin and/or canthaxanthin, containing both hydroxyl and ketone functional groups. Like many carotenoids, astaxanthin is a colorful, lipid-soluble pigment. This colour is due to the extended chain of conjugated (alternating double and single) double bonds at the centre of the compound. This chain of conjugated double bonds is also responsible for the antioxidant function of astaxanthin (as well as other carotenoids) as it results in a region of decentralized electrons that can be donated to reduce a reactive oxidizing molecule.

Today I am not gonna show you DXN Ganoderma coffee, but DXN Ganoderma medicinal mushroom powder DXN RG (Reishi Gano) and DXN GL (Ganocelium) extract. RG is the King of Detoxifiers, it detoxifies the body in a very effective way. GL is the Balancer, it balances and rebuilds the body. These names I heard from our Ganotherapist, who helps me with her professional advice. Both extracts detoxify and rebuild, but RG has a stronger detoxiying effect and GL has a stronger balancing and rebuilding effect.
(I show the small, round, white boxes of DXN RG and GL to the camera, and after this I pour the powders on a plate.)
I did a Hungarian language video about 10 minutes ago, so as you see I poured some Ganoderma RG and GL extracts on this small plate, but I will show them to you again and pour it out from their boxes.

So, this is RG. It is the extract of the 3-month-old Lingzhi mushroom body. It is nice dark brown, it looks a bit like cocoa powder, but actually it is very bitter. It is not tasty, but it is very healthy. I heard a proverb once that says: ’’The more bitter, the more healhy.”

This is GL Lingzhi extract. I pour it next to DXN RG on this plate, no problem if they get mixed a bit, they all go to the same place in my belly, hehe! It has got lighter color. I am going to eat one spoon of each DXN Ganoderma powder. First I’m gonna start with RG and then GL. One scoop is recommended daily, but of course this can be more or less, depending on healthy condition.

(I take a spoon of RG in my mouth and my facial expression tells it that it is so bitter. I drink a mug of water on it.)

Wow, it is bitter! But let’s see GL! It is more delicious as it does not have any bitter taste. GL Ganocelium powder is the 14-day-old extract of Ganoderma mycelium.

(I put a scoop of DXN GL into my mouth and flush it down with a glass of water, not making such a painful facial expression like I did when I took RG, hehe.)

It is also very effective to take Lingzhi (it is Chinese for Ganoderma) in my mouth and let is absorb with my mucus, or drink just a few drops of water on it.

It is recommended for old people to start Ganotherapy with DXN GL powder or capsules. It is because if someone starts to take RG and he or she is very old, the symptoms of detoxification might be very unpleasant. I have to repeat, that these are no side effects, these are the symptoms of detoxification. GL is a milder detoxifier and more of a balancer, so first we have to rebuild the older weakened body with GL and then we can start detoxifying it with Reishi Gano extract some months later. This of course is a longer process, actually I have heard it from dr. Lim that also in case of mega dosis one should not expect visible improvements until about 4 months.
