[What is Andrographis?]

Andrographis paniculata is a bitter tasting annual plant, referred to as the “King of Bitters.” It has white-purple flowers and it is native to Asia and India where it has been valued for centuries for its numerous medicinal benefits. Over the past decade, andrographis has become popular in America where it is often used alone and in combination with other herbs for a variety of health purposes.

According to Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, the active ingredient in andrographis is andrographolides. I use a variety of supplements every day and recently added Green Coffee Bean Extract to my daily regimen. I tried another brand first and it was okay but then I found the NutraChamps brand and like this one better. It’s twice the strength as the other brand I was using and I don’t get a racy feeling at all. My appetite is suppressed but not to the point where I don’t want to eat good healthy foods.
