[What is Pine bark?]

Pine bark, botanical name Pinus pinaster, is a maritime pine native to southwest France that also grows in countries along the western Mediterranean.  Pine bark contains a number of beneficial compounds that are extracted from the bark in a way that doesn’t destroy or damage the tree.

[How does it work?]

What gives pine bark extract its notoriety as a powerful ingredient and super antioxidant is that it’s loaded with oligomeric proanthocyanidin compounds, OPCs for short. The same ingredient can be found in grape seeds, the skin of peanuts and witch hazel bark. But what makes this miracle ingredient so amazing?

While OPCs found in this extract are mostly known for their antioxidant-producing benefits, these amazing compounds exude antibacterial, antiviral, anticarcinogenic, anti-aging, anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic properties. Pine bark extract can help reduce muscle soreness and may help improve conditions relating to poor circulation, high blood pressure, osteoarthritis, diabetes, ADHD, female reproductive issues, skin, erectile dysfunction, eye disease and sports stamina.

Hey everyone! In todays video I’m showing you some healthy holiday treats! These diy holiday treats are yummy and diy christmas treats! These are easy and quick to make plus they taste yummy!

Eggnog Bites

1 cup cups gluten-free rolled oats
1/8 cup coconut flour
1/2 scoop protein powder (optional)
1 T stevia
pinch nutmeg
1/8 cup almond butter (can sub for any nut butter)
1/8 cup maple syrup
1/8 cup Eggnog of choice

Gingerbread Smoothie

1/2 cup dairy-free/vegan yoghurt
1 table spoons of raw almond butter
¼ tsp of ground cinnamon
¼ tsp ground ginger
1 tsp maple syrup (or other sweetener of choice)
¼ tsp ground nutmeg
¼ tsp ground cardamom
1 cup ice cubes
½ frozen banana

peppermint muffins
1 cup almond meal
1/8 cup coconut flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/3 cup coconut sugar
4 tbsp coconut oil
1/3 almond milk
1/4 cup cocoa powder
dash of sea salt
1/2 tsp pure vanilla
1 tsp peppermint extract
