A gift taken from the gods – Korean ginseng
Originally, ginseng was a medicinal root which grew in the deep of the mountains. Among them, Korean ginseng was especially effective, which meant they were especially valuable. In the past, Korean ginseng was considered a treasure well-hidden among the trees in the forest. As time passes, people develop ways to grow them artificially and produce red ginseng, which allows ginseng to be used in all aspects of our lives.

인삼은 애초에 깊은 산중에서 자생하는 약초였다. 그중에서도 고려인삼은 약효가 대단히 뛰어났기 때문에 값어치도 그만큼 높았다. 과거, 깊은 산 속 신들에 의해 숨겨진 보물에 다름 아니었던 고려인삼. 차례대로 시대를 거치며 홍삼제조법과 인공재배가 가능해지고 현대에 와서 고려인삼은 우리 생활 전반에 쓰이게 된다.
