Barley grass, chia, and chicory are three greens that some turtles may like. These greens are a good choice for indoor or outdoor turtle pens. Although, Sparky (box turtle) hates greens I keep trying to chop up greens and get him to eat them. Fresh barley grass can be snipped and cut up with kitchen shears and put on baked potatoes in place of chives. By leaving an inch or so of growth the barley grass should regrow. The barley grass grew around 4 inches in 7 days.
