A pernicious weed known for its ability to climb and choke out anything in its way – but a good subject for shooting. This took six weeks to film and a couple of weeks to put it all together. I built a garden set in a plastic lined shoe box. With hindsight that wasn’t a great plan – the glitches in the film are due to the soil shifting as the cardboard started to give. I’ve done my best with image tracking software but there’s still a bit of trouble.
Even with the glitches I think this is my best setup so far. Somewhere in the region of 15,000 photos – I’m glad we don’t have to use film anymore
