Blueberry Banana Mint Smoothie
My current go-to smoothie! So refreshing, not overwhelmingly sweet, rich in antioxidants, high in fibre, keeps you energized, and the list can go on.
Every single time I drink this smoothie I receive a perplexed and curious look and get asked what’s in it. So here we go:
Recipe:
- 1 cup of frozen blueberries
- 2-3 fresh or frozen ripe bananas (use frozen for a creamier, and thicker texture)
- A big handful of spinach
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 3-4 drops of peppermint extract (or fresh mint leaves)
Put all the ingredients in a high-speed blender and blend until smooth!
