I love broccoli cheese soup and I love bread bowls. So I combined the two and it is delicious! This is inspired by Panera Breads creamy broccoli cheddar soup bread bowl.
INGREDIENTS
16 oz bag of frozen broccoli
3 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1 cup grated parmesan cheese (optional)
4 cups whole milk
1 1/2 cup chicken broth
5 tbls all purpose flour
5 tbls unsalted butter
1 medium onion
1 medium carrot
1 tsp garlic powder
kosher salt and black pepper to taste
1 tbls oil
extra 2 tbls butter for croutons
