Chounoune – The 2017 SDG Conference in Jamaica will promote inclusive partnerships
At the launch of the June 28-30, 2017 Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) Conference, Dr. Elsie Laurence-Chounoune, UNDP Deputy Resident Representative, points out that the SDGs present us in the Caribbean with a new and effective avenue for global development. She explains the role of inclusive partnerships and makes the link with the UNDP 2016 Caribbean Human Development Report (CHDR) – Multidimensional Progress: Human Resilience Beyond Income, which was also officially launched at the event.
