This was the end of our first phase of Pre-Service Training (1) for the US Peace Corps. My host papa is Paramount Chief Kalmele Joel of Sunae Village. He was a fantastic host papa, and made training not only bearable but a great experience.

The training for Peace Corps (this phase) was all about Language and Culture, as well as Safety, Security, and Health. We stayed with host families, who took part in our trainings and continued our trainings at home with us.
