How is chocolate made? This video is about the craft of making pure healthy chocolate.

Our previous videos show Gregory hunting cacao in Ecuador. Next the cacao was fermented and dried. Then it was processed in to cacao liquor, all in preparation for today, when Nova Monda will make heart healthy chocolate. Chocolate is healthy because of the high levels of antioxidant flavonoids. Chocolate has many health benefits because of these high levels.

Hi, my name is Gregory Landua and I’m here at the Nova Monda Cacao & Chocolate world headquarters where we craft the worlds finest chocolate. This block of cacao will be melted down and put in the melangeur. Let’s bring it next door and start a batch of dark chocolate. Coconut oil has been added. I will now take the pure healthy chocolate that has been gently warmed in our oven, named spock, and pour it in to our amazing melangeur where it will be stone ground.

This is a machine that uses ancient technology, stone grinding, combined with modern technology, an electric motor, to make the pure healthy chocolate that you love.

Now I am just going to pour this amazing cacao goodness in to the stone grinder. Evaporated cane juice is a great healthy alternative to sugar. It is the last ingredient in our amazing dark chocolate. The main ingredient pure healthy chocolate is of course the amazing cacao that we sourced from in this case Ecuador. We also get our cacao from Nicaragua.

Here we are at Nova Monda’s store where we sell all of our pure healthy chocolate. A lot of people ask, “How is chocolate made?”. And we can tell them that our dark chocolate is made right here in the same shop.

Here are the three main healthy chocolate types that you have come to know and love. Indio, bisiesto, and nacional. These are our jar chocolates. We have gift sets, nibs, cacao, cocoa powder. All sorts of amazing products with lots of antioxidant flavonoids which of course make our healthy chocolate the best it can be.
