Fresh honey from the back yard. There are many small family beekeepers in our area in Germany. We visited a family friend who keeps all her bees in the garden. It’s easier than you think to build your own beehives. The bees work hard to collect pollens and nectar which turns to honey later.

She showed us the hives, the workers, the queen, the eggs and larvae…

Honey is a great natural sweetener for tea, cooking or baking. I’m going to use the honey to bake a traditional German cake in my next video.
