Here’s my first attempt at Chinese / Korean Ginseng Chicken Soup and I’ll show you step by step how I made my first batch. I was extremely pleased with the way it came out. There are various health benefits to this soup.

$20 of high quality dried ginseng from some Asian ginseng herbal shop
$6 small chicken from the Asian supermarket
$3 pack of jujube dates, only used 3, also available at the Asian supermarket
$0.33 green onions, only used 2 stalks, available at any supermarket
$0.25 ginger, only used 3 slices, available at any supermarket
$0.25 garlic, used about 9 garlic cloves, available at any supermarket

I probably could have used cheaper dried ginseng, but I got hustled at the Asian ginseng herbal shop. It was from the $220 per pound pile. Could have also used fresh American ginseng.

I following the following recipe, see link below, but didnt add the rice, used more water and added a few pieces of ginger.

Let me know what you think about this video in the comments below. I’m looking forward to creating some more random videos soon.
