Growing your hair back/ making it healthy again is not an easy process, but I hope this video helps! You can try everything and eat all the sugar bear vitamins in the world but if you aren’t consistent with it, nothing will change. Before losing my hair because of chemo I never dyed it but used heat a lot. I think that now my hair is better than what it was before! Keep in mind I still don’t color my hair, I have “virgin hair” as my hairdresser calls it lol.

If you have watched any of my past videos you know how I felt about losing my hair. It’s awful. If you are reading this and have just lost yours… I know it feels like it will never come back (despite everyone telling you it will) but it does, and once it grows to a point you are happy with, you will look back in shock at how far you have come! I would have never thought to cut my hair but when it was growing back I realized I kinda liked having shoulder length hair. Don’t be afraid to try new styles with your hair while it’s growing back and make sure to take pictures (even though you don’t want to) so you have something to look back on!

** Some things I FORGOT to mention in the video **

– I used Keratin Complex kerawhip hydrating cream conditioner while in the shower once a week!
– I now use Keratin Complex smoothing shampoo and conditioner.
– I have never colored my hair
– use a heat protectant spray when styling your hair
– While going through chemo I tried to sleep with a silk bandana on my hair as much as possible.

I would say give your hair a month ( at MINIMUM ) using these techniques. If your are starting post chemo ( like myself) do these from the second you are better from treatment:

Regular haircuts!
- NO HEAT! Its hard but probably the most important
Hair mask/ treatments 1-2 times a week
Using silk pillow cases
Leave in hair oil for after the shower
Eating healthy ( lots of protein and water)

*** Watch to find what I think is the SECRET ingredient for long beautifullll hair ;)

If you have any cool hair tricks you use please pass them along and let me know if there’s anything else I can help with! Good Luck!
