After installing pollen traps, pay attention to how the bees settle into a new pathway. Some colonies adapt quickly, within a day. Others take several days to figure out how to navigate the screens inside the pollent trap. Look for bees hunkered up under the porch or bottom board. They aren’t sure how to get back inside. You can scoop them with a gloved hand and deposit them tenderly to the porch.
