Martin Ronis FASEB ’14 Comments on Soy & Testosterone
Martin Ronis just accepted Professorship in Pharmacology at LSUHSC in New Orleans after many years as Professor at Department of Pediatrics, Division of Developmental Nutrition, University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and Associate Director for Basic Research, Arkansas Children’s Nutrition Center. What I have always liked about Martin since we first crossed paths at Experimental Biology meetings was that fact that all of his soy and isoflavone research has been funded by non-industry sources! Was very nice of Martin to take a minute to comment on a couple of questions I posed to him outside the San Diego Convention Center in ’14 after he had presented at the Experimental Biology Meetings. I would consider Martin the most objective source of information on hormonal influences of soy and isoflavones on humans.
