A very healthy recipe for breakfast and brunch, Masala Dosa is a delicious recipe that is made using rice and lentils. The crispy pancakes are served best with coconut and green chutney and sambhar. This masala dosa is made by stuffing lightly cooked potatoes, onions, green chilli and spices. Make sure that the batter is fermented well and the masala dosa is sure to taste divine. Pair it with different chutney and and some crispy vadas for a complete meal.
Ingredients – Masala Dosa with Sambar & Coconut chutney Recipe
*500 gms Soak Rice in water overnight
*250 grams (White) Lentil Soak Urad Dal
*1/2 Cup Flattened/Beaten Rice (poha)
*1 tbsp Fenugreek seeds (methi dana)
*Salt to taste
*4 large mashed boiled potatoes
*1 tbsp Turmeric powder
*2 teaspoon Red chili powder
*25 Kadi Patta or Curry Leaf
*3 tsp Black Mustard Seed
*1 Onion finely chopped
*2 Finely chopped tomatoes
*100 gram Pigeon pea (Tuvar dal)
*Pinch of Hing (Asafoetida)
*1/2 tsp Fenugreek seeds
*5-6 Dry red chilli
*1 Cup Chopped Green Pumpkin (kadoo)
*1 Drumstick Vegetable
*100 gms tamarind (imli)
*6 Green chilli
*½ Cup Coconut/Narial (Coconut grated)
*Handful Coriander leaves
*2 tbsp Sambar Masala
*4 tbsp Butter
*4 tbsp Roasted Split Bengal Gram
