Meadowsweet has a range of uses in herbal medicine: Meadowsweet Part 1
We use meadowsweet in our Organic Arnica & Meadowsweet Salve https://bit.ly/P6Oxwf and also in our herbal digestif Best British Bitters https://bit.ly/Pon9nR It has a wide range of uses from digestion to joints, and is widely used as a food. The plant contains salicylic acid which is what aspirin was synthesised from. Historically it was used to flavour mead and in Part 2 Monica shows you how to make Meadowsweet Cordial, similar in taste to Elderflower Cordial. Meadowsweet’s botanical name is Filipendula ulmaria (originally Spiraea ulmaria).
