Pancakes from Scratch – EASY pancake recipe
I just wanted to share with you all how I make my delicious homemade pancakes from scratch. The ingredients and instructions are down below.
Ingredients:
Dry Ingredients
1 Cup All Purpose flour
1 Tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
Wet Ingredients
1 Cup milk
1 egg
2 Tablespoons vegetable oil (or melted butter)
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions:
Combine ALL of your dry ingredients and mix well. In a separate bowl combine ALL of your wet ingredients and mix well.
Add your wet ingredients to you dry ingredients and mix into a batter. Pour 1/4 cup of batter into a pre-heated (on medium heat) skillet/griddle for each pancake you want to make. Lower your heat to medium-low.
When you see air bubbles covering the top of the batter (after about a minute) you flip the pancakes and about 45 seconds later you remove them from the skillet/griddle and enjoy!
