Paul Polman, CEO of Unilever and one of the SDG Advocates, delivers a message to the signatories of the Belgian SDG Charter for Development. This charter has been drafted by The Shift, together with Belgian Minister Alexander De Croo, to define the role of the Belgian business community, civil society and the public sector in international development cooperation. It has two objectives: 1) bring together the commitments of key players from the three sectors 2) stimulate partnerships on specific projects which help to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals in the field of international development cooperation.
