Spicy gravy Puli kuzhambu for hot steamed rice is delicious mouth watering one.We can keep it for more than 2 days, which will be very helpful for us in some urgent circumstances.This spicy gravy will be in heavenly taste with soft utthappam too.

INGREDIENTS

Tamarind – Lemon sized (tightly packed)
(Soaked in 500 ml water .Crush it & filter)
Shallots ( Small Onion) – 1 Cup
Garlic pods – 1/2 Cup
Sambar powder – 1 Tsp
Coriander powder – 2 Tsp
Turmeric powder – 1/4 Tsp
Chili powder – 1 Tsp
Jaggery powder – 1 Tsp (Optional)
Salt – To taste

SEASONING

Sesame Oil – 50 ml
Mustard seeds – 1/2 Tsp
Fenugreek seeds – 1/2 Tsp
Cumin seeds – 1 Tsp
Curry leaves – 2 Springs
