Mathilde Van Drooghenbroeck was Junior Assistant in charge of gender mainstreaming for BTC in Peru (2009-2011). She worked on the integration of the gender approach in a local economic development program by developing strategies, trainings and awareness raising campaigns. Her passion for gender SDG 5 (Gender equality) led her into sociological research. Currently she is doing a PhD on different forms of fatherhood in Peru.
