Today I’m going to talk about the top 5 foods for fertility and pregnancy. These foods are important for all women to consume, but especially for pregnant women, who are nourishing themselves and the life they are raising.

According to medical research, not receiving proper nourishment during pregnancy can increase the child’s risk of cancer, obesity, diabetes, polycystic ovary syndrome, and heart disease. Proper nutrition before, during, and after pregnancy is crucial for the health of the child.

A study performed in the Journal of Clinical Nutrition found that having a good balance of probiotics in the mother’s gut can decrease the chance of obesity in the child and vice versa. The nutrition of the mother during pregnancy is vitally important for the health of the child.

Top 5 Superfoods for Fertility:

1. Vegetables: nutrient-dense, high in fiber, lower in carbohydrates and calories
