Turmeric: powerful anti-inflammatory, the antioxidant king
Antioxidants are mandatory for lifelong health. Until they become an essential nutrient, we are left with the idea that they aren’t important, but they are! They protect our cells from DNA damage, they reduce the stress of aging, and overall are essential in the fight to prevent, arrest, and reverse cancer. Turmeric reigns supreme out of all the spices with antioxidants, and in this video I give a brief overview of its many benefits.
A daily recommended dose is 1 teaspoon a day with a pinch of black pepper powder. You can microwave a small cup with some water in it for 1 minute, and then add the turmeric and black pepper, as studies suggest it’s cooked or heated form may be more effective.
