Vegetable fruit BiryaniThis is a tasty and healthy biryani a perfect rice dish for the children.It has lots of colourful vegetables and fruits. It tastes great because of its sweet & sour flavour . It is complete meal in itself.
Ingreedients-
1. Basmati rice boiled ………… 1/2 k.g.
2. Onion fried …………………… 2 medium.
3. Green chillies slit …………… 4.
4. Capsicum yellow …………… 1 table spoon diced.
5. Capsicum red ………………. 1 table spoon”
6. Carrot ………………………….1 table spoon”
7. Green peas …………………. 1/2 cup blanched.
8. Raisins ………………………. 1 tea sp.
9. Potato fried …………………. 1 cut into dice.
10. Kewra essence …………… few drops.
11. Yellow colour ……………… few drops.
12. Ginger & garlic paste ……. 1 tea sp.
13. Red chilli powder …………. 1 tea sp.
14. Lemon juice ……………….. 1/2 cup.
15. Curd …………………………. 1/2 cup.
16. Oil ……………………………. 2 large spoon.
17. Whole garam masala……….Bayleaf 2, Cinnamon stick 2, Green cardamom 2, Few black peppers
,Few cloves , 1/2 tea spoon caraway.
18. Black currant ……………… 1 table sp.
19. Garam masala powder ……1 tea sp.
20. Apple ……………………….. 1/2 cut.
Method-
1) Soak basmati rice into warm water for 20 min.
2) Fry onion till crispy & golden.
3) Fry cut potato till light brown.
4) Put oil in a wok add bay leaf, cinnamon stick caraway seed & cardamom fry well.
5) Add ginger & garlic paste and all the vegetable ,salt,garam masala, raisins ,red chilli powder add apple put off the flame.
6) Add lemon juice and black currants, fried onion mix all well add curd.
7)Take boiled rice put a layer put another layer of fruits & veg spriknle colour and kaewda repeat the process of layers till all the material, finishes keep for 8-10 min on slow flame.
