Working Class: Build & Grow Green explores careers that provide opportunities to make a positive impact on the environment. Learn how science and technology make it possible for us to use natural resources efficiently while conserving energy and protecting the environment. Viewers of Build & Grow Green will meet senior gardeners at Longwood Gardens – one of the world’s great gardens – and learn more about the Department of Energy’s Race to Zero building design competition. The program also will share insights from environmentalist and author Rick Bass and children’s book author and illustrator Henry Cole.
