Brief Introduction

Salicin is a naturally occurring compound found in the bark of several species of trees, primarily North American in origin, that are from the willow, poplar, and aspen families. White willow, from whose Latin name, Salix alba, the term salicin is derived, is the most well known source of this compound, but it is found in a number of other trees, shrubs, and herbaceous plants as well being synthesized commercially. It is a member of the glucoside family of chemicals and is used as an analgesic and antipyretic. Salicin is used as a precursor for the synthesis of salicylic acid and acetylsalicylic acid, commonly known as aspirin.

A colorless, crystalline solid in its pure form, salicin has the chemical formula C13H18O7. Part of its chemical structure is equivalent to the sugar glucose, meaning it is classified as a glucoside. It is soluble, but not strongly so, in water and alcolhol. Salicin has a bitter taste and is a natural analgesic and antipyretic, or fever reducer. In large quantities, it can be toxic, and overdoses may lead to liver and kidney damage. In its raw form, it may be mildly irritating to skin, respiratory organs, and eyes.

สาเหตุที่ทำให้เกิดโรคสะเก็ดเงิน
โรคสะเก็ดเงิน เป็นโรคที่เกิดจากความผิดปกติทางพันธุกรรมเป็นพื้นฐาน และมีปัจจัยภายใน และปัจจัยภายนอกเป็นตัวกระตุ้นให้โรคกำเริบได้ โดยปัจจัยภายใน เช่น ภาวะทางจิตใจ ความเครียด ความโกรธ หงุดหงิด ฉุนเฉียว
การเปลี่ยนแปลงที่เกิดในร่างกาย เช่น การเปลี่ยนแปลงของระดับฮอร์โมน เช่น ระยะมีประจำเดือนหรือหมดประจำเดือน, การเกิดโรคของอวัยวะภายในต่าง ๆ เช่น โรคตับ โรคไต เป็นต้น การเปลี่ยนแปลงและโรคต่าง ๆ ของอวัยวะภายในจะส่งผลกระทบโดยตรงหรือโดยอ้อมต่อผิวหนังด้วยเสมอ ดังนั้นผู้ป่วยโรคสะเก็ดเงินจะมีอาการกำเริบได้เมื่อเกิดโรคกับอวัยวะภายในอื่น ๆ

ทั้งนี้ วารสารวิชาการโรคผิวหนังของสหรัฐฯ ได้เคยทำการศึกษาเกี่ยวกับเรื่องความเสี่ยงการเป็นโรคสะเก็ดเงินในสตรีที่ดื่มเบียร์ พบว่า สตรีที่ดื่มเบียร์ไม่ต่ำกว่าอาทิตย์ละ 5 ครั้ง มีความเสี่ยงที่จะเป็นโรคสะเก็ดเงินมากกว่าคนทั่วไปถึง 2 เท่า

งานวิจัยไทยที่ทั่วโลก…ตะลึง….
สร้าง Th17 ต้านมะเร็ง จากพืช 5 ชนิด
นักวิทยาศาสตร์อเมริกันพบว่า เม็ดเลือดขาว Th17 สามารถป้องกันและจัดการกับเซลล์มะเร็งได้ และได้มีความพยายามในการสร้าง Th17 ในปริมาณมากเพื่อใช้รักษามะเร็งในผู้ป่วย แต่วิธีการรักษาที่มาตรฐานยังอยู่ในระหว่างการพัฒนา เพื่อให้เกิดประสิทธิภาพสูงสุดและมีผลข้างเคียงน้อยสุด จากการทดสอบในอาสาสมัครโดยศูนย์วิจัยเทคโนโลยีชีวการแพทย์มหาวิทยาลัย เชียงใหม่ พบว่าแคปซูลการ์ซิเนีย 4 แคปซูลต่อวันต่อเนื่อง 15 วัน th17 เพิ่มขึ้น 500% และ Th1 เพิ่มขึ้น 200% อย่างปลอดภัยไร้ผลข้างเคียง Th17 ที่เพิ่มขึ้นจึงควรจะเกิดประโยชน์ในการยกระดับคุณภาพชีวิตของผู้ป่วยมะเร็ง ได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ โดยไม่เกิดผลข้างเคียงใดๆเลย นอกจากนี้ Th1 ที่เพิ่มขึ้นก็จะเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพเม็ดเลือดขาวและฆ่าในการจัดการเซลมะเร็ง ที่เพิ่มขึ้นได้อีกด้วย ส่วนน้ำมังคุด BIM ซึ่งประกอบด้วย สารในปริมาณมาตรฐาน 4 กลุ่ม คือ 1.สาร GM-1 ที่สามารถฆ่าเซลล์มะเร็งได้ โดยการทำลายผนังเซลล์ 2. alpha- hydroxyl acid ซึ่งดักจับธาตุเหล็กอิสระที่เซลล์มะเร็งต้องใช้ในการเจริญเติบโตเร็วกว่าเซลล์ปกติในร่างกาย 3. alpha- hydroxycitric acid ที่ระงับการสร้างไขมัน ซึ่งเป็นส่วนประกอบหนึ่งของเยื่อบุผนังเซลล์มะเร็ง 4. สาร polysaccharides ซึ่งป้องกันไม่ให้เซลล์มะเร็งเกาะติดอยู่กับเซลล์ปกติของร่างกาย และยังสามารถกำจัดเซลล์มะเร็งได้ด้วย ดังนั้น การใช้น้ำมังคุด BIM ควบคู่กับการซีเนียแคปซูลจะช่วยให้มีประสิทธิภาพในการดูแลผู้ป่วยมะเร็งด้วย กลไกที่ต่างกัน วิธีการใช้ที่ดีที่สุด คือ ใช้น้ำมังคุด BIM 1 ซอง ก่อนอาหารเช้า แคปซูลการ์ซีเนีย 3 แคปซูล ก่อนอาหารกลางวัน, 3 แคปซูล ก่อนอาหารเย็น, และ 3 แคปซูล ก่อนนอน จากการทดสอบที่ศูนย์วิจัยเทคโนโลยีชีวการแพทย์มหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่พบว่า อาสาสมัครที่ใช้น้ำมังคุด 1 ซอง (300 ml) ทุกวันต่อเนื่อง 15 วัน มีปริมาณ Th1 เด่นกว่า Th2 ซึ่งทำให้มีความสามารถในการเพิ่มภูมิต้านทานต่อสิ่งแปลกปลอม เช่น เชื้อรา แบคทีเรีย ไวรัส และมะเร็ง ในขณะเดียวกัน T regulator มีปริมาณมากขึ้น ซึ่งทำให้สามารถควบคุม Th1, Th2 และ Th17 ไม่ให้มีมากเกินจนเกิดอาการแพ้ภูมิตัวเอง ด้วยเหตุผลดังกล่าว การใช้แคปซูลการ์ซิเนียและน้ำมังคุดบิม จึงควรใช้ในเวลาต่างกันเพื่อไม่ให้ T regulator ที่เพิ่มขึ้นจากการใช้น้ำมังคุดบิม ไปลดปริมาณ Th1 และ Th17 การใช้น้ำมังคุดบิมคู่กับแคปซูลการ์ซิเนียจะช่วยให้ผู้ป่วยมะเร็งที่มี อาการแพ้ภูมิตัวเองอยู่แล้วจะสามารถลดอาการแพ้ภูมิตัวเองจากประมาณ T regulator ที่เพิ่มขึ้นจากการใช้น้ำมังคุด ดังนั้นผู้ป่วยเหล่นี้จึงควรอย่างยิ่งที่จะต้องใช้ผลิตภัณฑ์ทั้งสองคู่กัน แต่ต้องใช้ต่างเวลากันประมาณ 2 ชั่วโมง
