The sweeter they are, the better, in my opinion. Remember you have to sweeten not only the nuts, but the chocolate as well. You can also sprinkle salt on them while they are hot and it will stick, making it even better!

This is an original recipe and is my own creation. These do not have any artificial flavorings or chemicals in them and do not have the exact same flavor as the Emerald Cocoa Roasted Almonds. They do however taste pretty awesome and are a healthy snack. These have a rich dark flavor. Adding stevia helps to take the edge off of the dark chocolate flavor. Raw cacao is the best and healthiest choice of chocolates to use. You can use powdered stevia, or even flavored liquid stevia. A good choice of flavors would be the English Toffee Stevia, or the Hazelnut. Yum!
The fats from Almonds are very healthy for you. You can incorporate almonds into ANY diet and still lose weight. These are a great snack for kids to eat in the evening when they get home from school, or make this special treat for them and pack it in their lunch.

Narration:
start by putting 2 cups of almonds into a preheated oven. 200 c, 400 f
in a bowl, put 2 tablespoons of raw cocoa powder or cocoa
and 2 tablespoons of pure vanilla extract
add anywhere from 5 to 15 tiny stevia scoops to this, to taste; you can also use liquid stevia
stir until fully incorporated and smooth
add a little pink Himalayan salt to taste
there, this is the smooth consistency you want
nuts are done – that took about 5 mins
pour out all the nuts into the bowl while they’re still steaming hot
stir quickly to make sure all the nuts are coated evenly
be careful, this is like napalm at the moment
the mixture is permanently adhering and cooking onto the nuts
sprinkle a little cocoa powder onto a large platter (this step is optional, but nice)
pour the warm nuts onto the platter and stir well
These do not leave a residue on your fingers, and is a perfect, healthy snack
