What is Grape Skin extract?

Grape skin extract are industrial derivatives from whole grape seeds that have a great concentration of vitamin E, flavonoids, linoleic acid, and OPCs. Typically, the commercial opportunity of extracting grape seed extract constituents has been for chemicals known as polyphenols, including oligomeric proanthocyanidins recognized as antioxidants.

Grape skin extract is rich in Oligomers Procyanidin Complexes (OPC) , which is a powerful antioxidant. In addition to the ultra rich potence of over 20 times higher than Vitamin C. Grape skin extract is also 50 times better than Vitamin E. Grape skin extract helps to strengthen the immune system, and also slowdown the aging process, which is of very high market value. Procyanidin B2, which is the most active compound to neutralize free radicals that cause aging, is available only in Grape Seed.

In Europe, OPC from grape skin extract proanthocyanidins has been adopted and used for several decades as a safe and effective compound. Grape skin extract has no record of any acute or chronic toxicity, no harmful reaction even under very high dosage. For these reasons, grape skin extract proanthocyanidins has become a new star in the food supplement market.

Gynostemma, also called jiaogulan, is a green leafy herb that became famous as a legendary infused “immortality tea” among certain isolated highland villages populations of southern China. This is a location where the plant naturally grows wild and where people were reported to live healthy long lives from daily consumption. Because of its remote use, it has only just recently been introduced into the Chinese herbal system and is now a popular hot tea to drink throughout Asia for its energizing and anti-fatigue effects, often used as a replacement for coffee and caffeinated teas. Containing saponin gypenosides and other constituents that exhibit antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and immune modulating properties, it is often compared to that of ginseng for its unique qualities.

FROZEN BLUEBERRY YOGHURT POPS – make these frozen Blueberry Ice Popsicle Lollies for your pup – refreshingly good on a hot day!
Made with fresh Blueberries (which are a superfood) and natural yoghurt these not only taste good – but they are good for your dog!

Here’s what you need:

Ingredients:

Mixing Bowl
Ice Block pop molds
1 cup Plain Yoghurt
1 cup Water
1 cup Fresh Blueberries

Method:

Mix yoghurt and water together in mixing bowl
Add a few blueberries to the inside of each of the ice pop molds
Top up each mold with the yoghurt water mixture
Put tops on molds
Freeze for several hours until frozen solid
Remove from freezer
Dip carefully frozen ice pops into some cold water for a few seconds — this will allow easy removal from the ice pop mold.

Make sure you hold these for your dog to eat as these molds have a plastic stick which will need to be removed.
