Introduction

Marigold flower belongs to compositae family and tagetes erecta. It is an annual herb and widely planted in Heilungkiang, Jilin, Inner Mongolia, Shanxi, Yunnan , etc.The marigold we used comes from Yunnan province. Based on the local situation of special soil environment and lighting condition , the local marigold have characteristics like growing fast,long flowering period ,high productive capacity and adequate quality.Thus, the steady supply of raw materials, high yield and reduction of cost can be guaranteed.

Описание: род объединяет 20 видов, дико произрастающих
в тропических и субтропических районах Азии и Северной Америки. 
Листопадные или вечнозеленые деревья или кустарники, редко травы, с
непарноперистыми, красивыми, ажурными листьями; цветками в кистях или метелках;
плодами — четковидными, перетянутыми бобами. В паркостроении России используют
два вида. 
Единичные попытки выращивания в открытом грунте в ботаническом саду
г.Санкт-Петербурга  заканчивались гибелью растений. S. flavescens
Soland .,
выращенная из семян, привезенных Н. М. Пржевальским, росла на питомнике
только в 1879—1881 гг. В 1913 г. содержалась в горшечном арборетуме. S.
japonica L . (ныне это Styphnolobium japonicum (L.) Schott) и
S. j. i. pendula Zabel приводились в каталогах в 1874— 1879
гг. Параллельно S. japonica росла в оранжереях и имелась в горшечном арборетуме.
В 1940 г. высажена из горшечного арборетума, где находилась с 1892 г.,
на дендропитомник. Выпала из коллекции в первую же зиму.
