The south American Acai palm(Euterpe oleracea)-known as the tree of life in Brazil-provides a small berry which is growing in fame, particularly following recent studies by well-known herbalists and naturopaths that have categorised it as a “superfood”. This homemade version of peanut Butter with Mixed seeds is highly nutritious and has loads of healthy fat. Apart from peanuts It’s made with flax seeds, pumpkin seeds and chia seeds creating a taste so fresh, sounds so interesting and unique that you’ll never buy another jar from the store again. But it doesn’t stop here — since there are so many different nuts, spices and seeds to choose from, the possibilities of mixed peanut butter creations are as wild as your imagination.
Ingredients for making peanut Butter with Mixed Seeds:-
3/4 cup 100g Peanuts with skin on
1 tbsp Flax seeds
1 tbsp pumpkin seeds
1 tbsp chia seeds
1 tbsp raw organic honey
1 tbsp peanut oil
3/4 tbsp cacao powder
1 tsp cinnamon powder
1/2 tsp nutmeg Powder
Method of making peanut Butter with Mixed Seeds :-
1. Roast peanuts on medium to low heat. Similarly Roast other seeds.
2. Let them cool down. Now add the dry ingredients in a mixing jar and grind them first ( or you can gradually start adding honey and peanut oil from start)
3. If you are using a blender. Blending the dry ingredients alone first is recommended.
4. Slowly add the wet ingredients.
5. It might take some time of grinding and than your own healthy, nutritious homemade peanut butter will be ready to use.
6. You can use it as a spread, or add in your dessert recipe. You can even use it in your energy/protein bars or shakes and smoothies

2 tbs toasted black sesame seeds
3 tbs sweet rice flour
1½ cup water
½ ts salt
a dried jujube with the pit taken removed
a few pumpkin seeds
Toast sesame seeds
Put the black sesame seeds into a strainer and scrub them under running water.
Drain the seeds and put them in a thick bottomed pan or pot. Stir with a wooden spoon over medium high heat for a few minutes.
When the sesame seeds start popping, lower the heat. Keep stirring until they’re crispy.
Blend the toasted black sesame seeds with ½ cup of water for 1 minute until the mixture is smooth.
Add 1 cup of water to the mix and blend it again for another minute.
Put 3 tbs of sweet rice flour into a thick bottomed pot. Mix in the sesame mixture with a wooden spoon.
Bring to a boil. Keep stirring over medium high heat for about 2 to 3 minutes until it bubbles.
Lower the heat to a simmer. Keep stirring for 3 to 5 minutes. The porridge will thin out a little and become shiny.
Add ½ ts salt and mix it well. Transfer to a serving bowl.
Garnish with a jujube and pumpkin seeds (or pine nuts) and serve warm.
