For healthy people 100 mg per day is more than enough. The different question if it’s somebody who has a repeat heavy infections, or, God forbid, a cancer or something like that, you need much larger dose.

Of courses it is not some strict measurement but for the normal size of guy 100 mg would be fine and if is a heavy infection, 500 to 1000 mg. If you have a cancer 1000 would be the best.
