[How to get it]

First, we collect raw propolis from beehives, then extract by low temperature with ethanol. Filter and concentrate, we get the pure propolis block at 98%. Then Low temperature crushing, adding edible and medicinal excipients, finally we get propolis powder.

Propolis comes from the substance like natural resin, which is collected by the bees from exudates of plants branches and bud the chemical substances of Propolis are found to be various, such as beeswax, resin, incense lipids, aromatic oil, fat-soluble oils, pollen and other organic matter. “It is estimated that in the United States, 350 million dental restorations
(fillings) are placed every year in dental offices. Sixty percent of those restorations
replace existing failed restorative treatments. The primary reason for failure of
dental restorations is secondary caries (decay), indicative of increased permeability
and debonding between tooth and restorative biomaterial. Current dental adhesive
restorative systems rely on the micromechanical retentions of restorations by
infiltrations of hydrophilic and hydrophobic resins into a collagen-rich surface on
dentin. Our laboratory at UIC has focused on understanding the tooth
biochemistry/biomechanics and explored biomimetic approaches for innovative
restorative/regenerative therapies. Specifically the interactions of olygomeric
proanthocyanidins agents (OPC) with dentin matrices to improve mechanical
properties and reduced biodegradation rates. This presentation will provide (1)
overview of challenges in the harsh oral environment (2) limitations of current
dental therapies and (3) mechanisms of interactions of OPC with type I collagen,
proteoglycans and matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs).”

Red Wine Contains Powerful Plant Compounds and Antioxidants, Including Resveratrol

Grapes are rich in many antioxidants. These includeresveratrol, catechin, epicatechin andproanthocyanidins (5).
These antioxidants, especially resveratrol and proanthocyanidins, are believed to be responsible for the health benefits of red wine.
Proanthocyanidins may reduce oxidative damage in the body. They may also help prevent heart disease and cancer (6, 7, 8).
Resveratrol is found in grape skin. It is produced in some plants, as a response to damage or injury (9).
This antioxidant has been linked with many health benefits, including fighting inflammation and blood clotting, as well as reducing the risk of heart disease and cancer. Resveratrol can also make test animals live longer (10, 11, 12).
However, the resveratrol content of red wine is rather low. You would have to consume several bottles per day to reach the amount used in the animal studies. This is not recommended, for obvious reasons (13, 14).
If you’re drinking wine just for the resveratrol content, then getting it from a supplement may be a better idea.
