[What is St. John's wort]

Ingredients-
field beans- 200 gms
kavla green leafy vegetable-1 bunch
onion – 1
green chillis -2
curry leaves -2
musturd seeds 1/4 tsp
cumin seeds 1/4 tsp
asafetida 2 pinch
tamarind 3 tbsp
turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
red dchilli powder 3 tsp
cumin powder 1 tsp
coriender powder 1 tsp
garam masala powder 1 tsp
salt as per taste

Method-
soak field beans overnight, remove excess water next day and
keep for next 12 hours for sprout, once sprouted peel off the skin.
pluck the leafy part and discard the stem. wash and clean
the leaves properly .

take pan dry cook the leaves for 2 to 3 mins,till it reduce
and becomes wet and sticky. cool it. grind into fine paste.
take another pan, give tempering of,musturd,cumin seeds ,asafetida,
curry leaves and green chillis in oil. put onion , fry till
golden brown, add garlic,ginger paste. saute. add field beans,
add turmeric, red chilli, cumin,coriender powder, mix well,
add water and salt as per taste, put 1 glass of water.Cover with lid
and cook for 15 mins. After 15 mins open the lid and put leafy
paste , and add water if required. cover and cook for more 15 mins.
Add garam masala pwder and tamarind pulp. cover and take 1 boil.
val kavla chi aamti is ready. have with rice and enjoy your meal.
