[What is Epimedium?]

Epimedium extract is a popular aphrodisiac supplement and herbal sexual performance enhancer.It has a long history of traditional use in China for the alleviation of erectile dysfunction and for improving libido and fertility.

Also known as Horny Goat Weed, this supplement supposedly got its name after a farmer noticed that his flock of goats were particularly aroused after eating flowers of a specific type. These Epimedium flowers contain icariin, which is a natural compound that increases blood flow to sexual organs and promotes sex drive. Icariin has been found to increase Nitric Oxide synthesis as well as inhibiting the activity of the PDE-5 enzyme

[Icariin in Epimedium Extract]

Epimedium extracts powder contain an active phytochemical called icariin.Icariin has been observed to exhibit a number of useful traits, including renoprotective (liver protecting) hepatoprotective (kidney protecting), cardioprotective (heart protecting) and neuroprotective (brain protecting) effects.

It is also an antioxidant and can cause vasodilation. It exhibits antimicrobial characteristics and is thought to act as an aphrodisiac.

Icariin is classified as a flavonol glycoside, which is a type of flavonoid. Specifically, icariin is the 8-prenyl derivation of kaempferol 3,7-O-diglucoside, a prevalent and important flavonoid.

This is a Powder Sulfur and Oil mix that I’m experimenting with for hair growth and thickness. Here in the south we would use Sulfur to treat our animals who suffered with mange. We would mix it with burned oil (used car oil) and powdered Sulfur and within a weeks time the animal would began to heal and show new hair growth. I remembered this and decided to make a oil mix using powdered sulfur. It worked wonders on our animals why not work wonders on us humans I will keep you guys posted on what I think and if my mixture needs to be improved.

I chose these oils because Sulfur can be a little drying to your skin and hair.

Oils used:
COCONUT OIL
A coconut oil scalp massage will effectively improve scalp circulation and boost nutrient and oxygen delivery to your hair. The natural antioxidants and nutrients found in coconut oil will deliver critical resources to improve your hair’s softness and luster. Coconut oil is rich in vitamin E, vitamin K and iron and effectively eliminates dandruff while boosting hair growth. The scalp and hair are high in bacterial content, but coconut oil is an effective remedy to deal with the issue. Coconut oil contains both antifungal and antibacterial properties to protect against dandruff and lice. Both of these potential problems limit hair growth.

GRAPE SEED OIL

Its rich, moisturizing properties make it ideal for use on your hair. Olive Oil helps your hair look healthier, stronger and shinier.

LAVENDER ESSENTIAL OIL
Lavender is is capable of preventing hair loss as well as in ensuring significant re-growth of hair. The oil also offers calming and relaxing effects thereby preventing the occurrence of stress insomnia and depression which are widely considered as common causes of alopecia or hair loss.
