If you’re anything like me, you think of penises as baffling, mythical creatures that you can only dream of understanding. Beautiful, weird, (sometimes) funny, it’s time we got to the bottom of what male genital organs are all about.

1. They’re REALLY bendy
Erm, so apparently, penises bend into the shape of a boomerang during missionary sex?! In 1999, University Hospital Groningen in the Netherlands carried out a study and looked at couples having penetrative sex under an MRI machine.
