[What is Valerian?]

Valerian root (valeriana officinalis) is derived from a plant native to Europe and Asia. The root of this plant has been used for thousands of years as a remedy for various ailments including sleep problems, digestive problems, and disorders of the nervous system, headaches, and arthritis. It is believed that valerian root has an impact on the availability of the neurotransmitter GABA in the brain.

I used 4 different kinds of clover
1 lb medium red clover
.5 lb white dutch clover
.5 lb ladino clover
.5 lb alsike clover
This was enough seed to cover 1/4 acre. I applied the seed at about double the rate to ensure good coverage. Clover is the only seed that will grow in shade and come back every year.
